The Service

We provide a service of advice and guidance, which is completely free of charge to its clients. Such a service might be limited to provision of information or signposting, though diagnosis of support needs, brokerage, mentoring and project development work are also provided in some cases.  Lincolnshire cda reserves the right to provide the level of service appropriate to each individual client, given the finite nature of its resources.  All advisers are seeking SFEDI accreditation.

Confidentiality

Information provided by clients is treated as strictly confidential, unless it is known to be otherwise.  Such information may be shared with other members of the LCDA team in the interest of providing a quality service, and it may be added into two databases of client information.  The first is maintained by Social Enterprise East Midlands, for the purpose of monitoring the ESF  EQUAL programme which provides part of the LCDA funding.  The second is the Business Link Lincolnshire and Rutland Client Management database, through which we share intelligence with other business advisers who may be able to provide assistance.  Both these databases are maintained on a confidential basis and information is maintained only for the purposes given.

We, and our partners, sometimes circulate information which we believe may be useful to our clients.  Please let us know if you do not want to receive such information

Creating Diversity

We operate a pro-active equal opportunities policy and welcome clients from all backgrounds.  Decisions on the nature of support we are able to provide to each client are made without discrimination, based on the delivery of our objectives and the desire to overcome exclusion and inequality in the workplace and in communities.  The detailed objectives of LCDA are set out in the Annual Report and Rolling Delivery Plan, a summary version of which is available on request.
