The background of Lincolnshire CDA

Lincolnshire Co-operative Development Agency was established in 2003 by a number of Partners to deliver a support and development service for a wide range of social enterprises and co-operatives around Lincolnshire.  It brought together established agencies and organisations to create a new holistic and comprehensive opportunity for enabling the sector to flourish.

LCDA is now an independent Company Limited by Guarantee,

The primary objectives of the Agency remain to provide services to Co-operative and Social Enterprise around Lincolnshire by :

Forward Strategy

The Directors remain confident that there is a significant need for the services for the Agency and that this will remain into the foreseeable future.  Indeed there is a clear need for a larger resource to be available and that this will grow as the sector continues to grow in the County.  Staff are being retained generally on a permanent basis and permanent funding to sustain the activities will be required.

Jane Powell of LCS is the Company Secretary

Members of the company are invited to contribute to the strategic direction of the Company through an annual report, general meeting and to elect the Board after the end of the financial year in the Autumn.
