Caistor Development Trust

The Caistor Development Trust was set up in 2002 by the Caistor Development Partnership.

The trust is currently involved in a number of economic development projects such as

– The Caistor Energy Partnership (CEP) which is addressing the shortage of energy on the Caistor Industrial Estate and looking at local energy buying schemes.

– A long term strategy for Caistor with particular reference to the Caistor Industrial Estate.

– The Caistor Arts & Heritage Centre which was successful in the Village SOS / BIG Lottery programme, televised in 2011 to renovate a primitive methodist chapel and restore a much loved community / redundant building for the benefit of the whole community.  It now operates as a local history hub, community rooms library and cafe.

The contact for Caistor Development Trust is Roy Schofield, 01472 852927
