Simon BeardsleySimon Beardsley is Chief Executive of the Lincolnshire Chamber; one of the largest business networks in the county providing first-class business support to companies of all shapes and sizes in a range of industries and sectors.



Joss Winn is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education where he runs the Doctorate in Education. His research focuses on co-operative education, workplace democracy and alternative forms of higher education. In 2011, he helped establish the Social Science Centre, Lincoln, a co-operative for higher education. Prior to joining the University of Lincoln in 2007, he worked in London for Amnesty International and has lived in the USA and Japan before returning to Lincoln, where he grew up. Over the past 20 years, he has taught at all levels of education, from a Kindergarten and public school in Japan to undergraduate and doctoral programmes in the USA and UK, as well as informal adult education.



Roy Schofield MBE has been a Director of Lincolnshire CDA since 2009, following key support from LCDA in Caistor winning financial and practical support through the Big Lottery/BBC  Village SOS programme for the Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre

  • Working to achieve the long term economic sustainability of Caistor by preserving, restoring and enhancing the historical, architectural and cultural heritage of the town. Further information on
  • Awarded an MBE in the Queen’s 2012 Birthday Honours for services to the community in Caistor, Lincolnshire.
  • Received an award from Mr John Godfrey, The High Sheriff of Lincolnshire, in March 2011 – In recognition of great and valuable services to the community. The award also recognises the appreciation of the residents and people of the said High Sheriff’s county for activity and contribution in enhancing the life of the community.
  • Received a Caistor Town Council Citizens Award in July 2010 – In recognition of the contribution to the Market Town and Community of Caistor.
